Mr. Geoffrey Stewart

Defense Forensics and Biometrics Agency
Mr. Stewart currently serves as the Director for the Defense Forensics and Biometrics Agency (DFBA), an Army Field Operating Agency under the Office of the Provost Marshal General. Before this role he served a short tour with the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security (OUSD I&S) helping establish a Law Enforcement Directorate to fulfill the Under Secretary’s responsibilities as the newly appointed Principal Staff Assistant for Law Enforcement. Prior to OUSD I&S, Mr. Stewart served as the Programs Division Chief at DFBA where he led a team responsible for the planning, programming, and budgeting efforts for the Army biometric program, maintaining technical standards, developing enterprise architecture, and defining capability requirements for the Department of Defense biometrics and forensics enterprise.
Before joining the civilian workforce, Mr. Stewart retired from active service as a Military Police officer culminating his career as the Deputy Provost Marshal General on the Headquarters Department of the Army Staff. His military assignments include: Operations Division Chief for the Office of the Provost Marshal General in the Pentagon; Senior Police Advisor to the Afghan Ministry of Interior as part of NATO Operation Resolute Support; Commander, 10th Military Police Battalion (ABN), Fort Liberty, NC; Assistant Deputy Director for Operations National Military Command Center, the Joint Staff, Washington D.C.; Brigade Operations Officer (S3) , 18th Military Police Brigade, Mannheim Germany; Battalion Executive Officer 95th Military Police Battalion, Brigade Training Officer, 8th Military Police Brigade, Yongsan, South Korea; and various other staff and leadership assignments across the Army. During his military career Geoff served multiple operational and combat tours to include Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
Mr. Stewart’s education includes an Army War College fellowship at Duke University, the Command and General Staff Officer’s Course, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, a Master of Arts degree in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and Statue University.
